* Also, though thisapplication links to our graduate school website, the application is definitely for this REU program. For recommendations, you send your recommender a link from the application, allowing them to upload letters of reference. This ensures that the recommendation gets attached to your application. There is also a mechanism to upload your (unofficial or official) transcript, so sending us a hard copy is unnecessary
*Apply to Physics REU program if interested in accelerator physics, high energy physics, amo, astrophysics, biophysics, cosmology, general relativity, quantum phenomenon, etc. Although it says "for women and minorities," the program is open to all.
*Apply to Materials REU program if interested in condensed matter phenomena, biophysics, nanomaterials, quantum phenomena, physical/inorganic chemistry, etc. The MRSEC includes faculty from physics, chemistry, and PME. This program is also open to all.
All materials are directed to the same destination, and all applications are considered for all available positions, but this initial sorting gives us some idea of your primary research interests.
